a. You will have noticed from your reading that 1 Maccabees and 2 Maccabees are in many ways two versions of the same basic story. What are the similarities and differences be- tween these two accounts in the chapters you have read? Make a table and list them.
b. In the light of your table in question 2, what is the emphasis of each of these accounts?
