History discussion
During the 1920s (i.e., after the Versailles treaties), how did the major world powers try to prevent the outbreak of another major conflict like “The Great War?” What treaties did they sign, and what were their terms? Are there other ways that they tried to create a more peaceful world? Obviously, they weren’t successful (in the short term), since an even larger and more destructive war soon occurred. You may not have sufficient information on this, but what reasons can you think of that explain this failure?
